Fan’s Review of 2019-20 Season – Doncaster Rovers

THE season may yet to be completed but, given the enforced break due to the coronavirus pandemic, we thought we’d ask one Doncaster Rovers fan to give their verdict on the campaign so far.

Stephen Waddington, 46, from York, has his say below. Scroll through and see if you agree, leaving your own thoughts in the comments section at the bottom.

How would you assess your season so far? Even pre Covid-19, it was stop-start after a manager change, limited pre-season recruitment and the Bolton furore. Darren Moore has done brilliantly. The play-offs are in reach, impressive as we’d no recognised striker until January.

Player of the season? Tom Anderson, a rock in defence.

If the season gets started again, what is your hope for your team? Push for play-offs.
