Fan’s Review of 2019-20 Season – Hull City

THE season may yet to be completed but, given the enforced break due to the coronavirus pandemic, we thought we’d ask one Hull City fan to give their verdict on the campaign so far.

Rick Skelton, 39, from Hessle, has his say below. Scroll through and see if you agree, leaving your own thoughts in the comments section at the bottom.

How would you assess your season so far? Outside shot at the play-offs until our home form completely crashed. We cashed in on Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki and with mounting injuries plummeted to one above the relegation zone.

Player of the season? George Long. Outstanding agility.

What mark would you give the manager out of ten? Six. He’s wedded to one system and signed poor players, but the problems run far deeper.

How important is it that we finish the season? Vital so we can start afresh next season.

If the season gets started again, what is your hope for your team? Survival.

What needs to change for next season? The owners. They’re toxic.
