FC Halifax Town missed out on the chance to put space between themselves and the National League drop zone when they lost to Aldershot.
Jim Stevenson headed in just after half-time for Aldershot, who wqrapped up the points when Rhys Browne fired home from long range.
Halifax are two points clear of the bottom four with five games remaining.
