The Shaymen host Eastleigh in their game in hand on all the other clubs battling relegation.

Last Saturday’s defeat at champions Cheltenham Town - Halifax’s fifth in six outings - dumped Jim Harvey’s men back in the bottom four. Victory tonight, though, would see Halifax leapfrog Boreham Wood with just two matches of the season remaining.

It won’t, though, be easy with Eastleigh equally desperate for the points. A win would see the club move back into the play-offs.

“We have to play with a bit of purpose and meaning,” said Harvey. “And, hopefully, get a bit of luck in front of goal.”
