Guiseley gained a crucial point in a draw at Bromley and if they beat Solihull Moors on Saturday the Lions will stay up.

Guiseley made a terrible start when Bradley Goldberg scored with the first attack of the game, holding off two defenders before hitting home.

It was almost 2-0 when George Porter hit the post when he cut inside and fired towards goal.

After the break, however, Jordan Preston, who had replaced Will Hatfield after 15 minutes, was put through on goal and he did well to make it 1-1 and set up a final day thriller at Nethermoor Park.

Guiseley manager Adam Lockwood said: “I thought the reaction of the lads was great, they gave us another kick to move forward, football doesn’t wait for you or feel sorry for you if you get an injury, but it is another point, we showed pure desire.

“I want everyone at this club to fight for us and today we did that we need to do it again in the next game.”
