HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have been handed a mouth-watering home game with 2016-17 Premier League champions Chelsea on the opening day of the 2018-19 campaign on Saturday, August 11.
After facing the Blues - the side who Town drew against to secure their top-flight status amid memorable scenes in early May - David Wagner’s side then make the trip to current champions Manchester City in their first away game of the campaign on Saturday, August 18 - in a teak-tough start to the season.
Town see out August with a home game with Cardiff City, managed by former Huddersfield manager Neil Warnock, on August 25.
A glamour home game with Spurs awaits on September 29 and Town’s next appointment at the John Smith’s Stadium is also a marquee one against Liverpool on October 20.
Huddersfield visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United in an attractive Boxing Day encounter before visitng Fulham on December 29 to see out 2018.
They open 2019 with a home game with Burnley on New Year’s Day.
Town host Pep Guardiola’s City on January 19 and entertain Everton on January 29 and Arsenal on February 9.
Huddersfield visit Tottenham’s new White Hart Lane stadium on April 13 and head to Liverpool on April 27.
Town’s final home match of the season is against Manchester United on May 4 and they end the campaign with a journey to Southampton on May 12.
