FT Tranmere Rovers 1 Huddersfield Town 1: Rhodes on target for Terriers

Lee Clark saw his Huddersfield Town side held 1-1 at Tranmere in League One.

With both the Owls and Blades involved in the FA Cup, Town had a chance to open up a three-poiint gap.

Loan signing Sean Morrison made his debut for the Terriers while Danny Cadamarteri came in to replace winger Gary Roberts who is ruled out for the next month after a double hernia operation. Lee Novak started after returning from injury.

After a lacklustre first half, the game burst into life with two goals in three minutes.

On 49 minutes, top scorer Jordan Rhodes showed his killer instinct to silence the home supporters.

But just three minutes later, on 52 minutes, Tranmere equalised when Adam McGurk fired home.

Town stand a point ahead of both Sheffield clubs now, but having played a game more.
