“But what I do know is that we want to re-sign Tom and have him here for the future.

“He’s made a lot of progress and we see a lot of potential in him.

“He can do much better because he has only played for six months after being out for a year before that.

“He needs time so he’s going to stay here with Celtic.”

His name may sound good in your ear, but if you hear it, you musn’t fear, because Max Power is apparently interesting Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday.

National newspaper reports suggest Wolves are apparently considering a move for Huddersfield Town’s Nahki Wells, having sold Benik Afobe to Bournemouth.

Queens Park Rangers are also thought to be keen on the player, but Terriers boss David Wagner is insistent that Wells will stay.

“No players will leave us in this window if I am not happy with the situation, so we feel protected,” he said.
