Half term report: Bradford City

Mike Harrison, Editor of City Gent fanzine.

Everything has gone a bit flat and it is difficult to see us forcing our way into the promotion race. We always seem to be four or five points adrift of the top seven no matter how we do on a Saturday and I think that will remain the case for the entire season. People are starting to question Stuart McCall again but it is difficult to see what else he could do with the budget he has.

Are your team exceeding pre-season expectations or under-achieving? The league table suggest we are under achieving but in reality we are where we should be.

Hero? James Hanson.

Most disappointing player? They are all trying their best. Best moment? Scoring after four minutes at Cheltenham to end a four-game run of not scoring.

Worst moment? Losing 3-0 at home to Rochdale.

Best side faced? Rochdale.

Worst side faced? Grimsby Town were truly awful.

Is your manager doing a good job? Some City fans won't agree, but he's doing his best with what is available to him.

What has gone right/wrong this season? Inexperienced team with no clinical finishers is what is wrong, while we have missed Peter Thorne and Michael Boulding.

What activity is needed in the January transfer window? We need a tough tackling midfielder and a similar type of centre-half.

Where will your team finish? Eighth or below.
