Half term report: Hull City

Gareth Richardson, of Beverley

I was very pessimistic before the season started so the welcome turnaround in results in October and November was a pleasant surprise. Adam Pearson coming back to the club has also been a bonus, he is respected in Hull and did a great job last time. How we do from hereon in is tied in with whether Jimmy Bullard can return and perform like he did before getting injured at Manchester City. He brought confidence to the side, so much so that when he missed the Everton game the players still put in a great performance to win. Providing Bullard is fit when we play Wolves on January 30, we'll be okay.
