Boyes grabs Guiseley winner but Halifax lose five-goal contest

Guiseley made it back-to-back wins in the National Leaue - but FC Halifax Town slipped to a home defeat.

Guiseley had Adam Boyes’s header, five minutes from time, to thank for the 1-0 win over against Kidderminster.

Jordan Burrow twice equalised for Halifax, but Torquay United emerged 3-2 winners thanks to Alex Fisher’s goal.

Angus MacDonald headed home Exodus Geohaghon’s long throw to give the visitors the lead before Burrow’s free-kick made it 1-1.

Another header, from James Hurst, made it 2-1 only for Burrow to make it 2-2.

James Hurst headed in Dan Butler’s cross only for Burrow to level the scores for a second time.

Bayan Fenwick saw red in injury time for kicking the ball away.
