CONFERENCE: FC Halifax’s chance to make move

FC Halifax Town are looking to make back-to-back home games in the coming four days pay as the race for the play-offs continues to gather pace

The Shaymen, seventh in the table but with four games in hand on the side occupying the last play-off slot, are handily placed to launch a concerted push for promotion after claiming three straight league wins since the turn of the year.

Braintree are the visitors to The Shay today, and Tuesday will see Eastleigh, who are one place above Halifax on goal difference, make the long trek north to West Yorkshire.
