The Shaymen, who host struggling Dartford, claimed just a point from back-to-back visits to Kidderminster and Southport.

Coming on the back of a 100 per cent winning start to 2015 in the league with four straight wins, the loss at Southport, in particular, was a disappointment.

Adam Smith could return to the starting XI at The Shay after impressing as a second-half substitute against the Sandgrounders on Tuesday, while Scott Boden and Jamie Jackson are also hoping to get the nod from manager Neil Aspin.

Town, however, will be without David Mellor, who was this week recalled from his loan spell in the Conference by parent club Oldham Athletic. He had made one appearance for Halifax since joining on the final day of the transfer window.

Steve Williams is also missing today but could be back for Tuesday’s clash at Aldershot as he recovers from a hamstring strain.
