Huddersfield Town 3 Wycombe Wanderers 0: Lee on target in Terriers win

Lee Clark saw his Huddersfield Town side extend their unbeaten record to 30 matches as they beat Wycombe at the Galpharm Stadium in League One.

There was no place for Damien Johnson, who has not featured since his summer move from Plymouth, after coming through a full week’s training unscathed, but Anton Robinson (cramp) returned. Alex Smithies is out for six weeks following knee surgery.

Town broke the deadlock at the start of the second half when Alan Knee pounced to score, before adding a second on 71 minutes.

Lee, who had not previously scored a league goal for the Terriers, headed his side in front with his first touch as a second-half substitute.

Another header from the former Crystal Palace striker made it 2-0 after good work from full-back Jack Hunt.

Gary Roberts completed the scoring with a free-kick following Leon Johnson’s foul on Jordan Rhodes.
