Huddersfield Town draft in veteran Colgan as cover for Smithies
HUDDERSFIELD have signed veteran goalkeeper Nick Colgan on a month's loan from non-league Grimsby.
The 37-year-old former Republic of Ireland international joins the Terriers as cover for the injured Alex Smithies and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's clash with Southampton.
Boss Lee Clark said: "With Alex currently on the sidelines through injury, it is a sensible piece of forward planning to bring a goalkeeper of Nick's experience to the club."
