Huddersfield Town transfer news: Terriers eye international midfielder swoop as Norwich City ready £6m move

Huddersfield Town secured their first signing of the January transfer window earlier in the week, as in-demand forward Sorba Thomas made the big step up from fifth-tier side Boreham Wood to join the Terriers on a three-year-deal.

Leigh Bromby, the club's head of football operations, gave an fine example of how he hopes the 21-year-old will develop, claiming: "He only needs to look at Josh Koroma as an example of the path he can take. Josh came from the same level, took time to adjust and improve and then made a massive impact on the Championship this season."Meanwhile, Town are back in second-tier action this weekend, when they take on recently-relegated Watford at Vicarage Road, and will be eager to secure a win to keep their push for the play-offs alive as we approach the second half of the season. While this could be a tricky encounter for Carlos Corberan's side, they'll be buoyed by the fact they defeated the Hornets 2-0 at the John Smith's Stadium shortly before Christmas. As always, we've scoured the web for all the latest transfer news including Huddersfield Town and the rest of the second-tier.
