Huddersfield Town v Carlisle United: Clark backs Town to recover in style

The Terriers are facing a quick turnaround with tonight's visit of Carlisle United coming a little over 48 hours after their unfortunate 2-1 fourth round defeat against Arsenal.

Despite that, Clark is backing his players to maintain their unbeaten League One record in 2011 by using the experience of running the Gunners so close in the Cup.

He said: "The lads had a light session and the atmosphere was good. They were gutted to lose the game but happy that they had shown everyone what a good side they are.

"The confidence the boys now have as a result of the Arsenal game has to be taken into the Arsenal game. We have to make sure we are up for what will be a tough battle against Carlisle."

Midfield man Tom Clarke will be missing for Town tonight after suffering a sprained ankle in the defeat to Arsene Wenger's men, while Clark admits Jack Hunt's impressive full debut at right-back has given him a selection headache.

He added: "Both Jack and Lee (Peltier) are in consideration for the role. One thing I do know now is that we have got two very good right-backs at this club."

Tonight's game is the third of four meetings between the two clubs in a little over five weeks, the previous two having ended in a 2-2 draw and a 4-0 hammering for Town.
