Huddersfield Town v Walsall League One - Galpharm support can help Town to play-offs says Clark

LEE CLARK insists Huddersfield Town can use back-to-back home games in four days to bolster their push for a place in the play-offs.

The sixth-placed Terriers follow tonight's meeting with Walsall by welcoming Millwall to the Galpharm Stadium on Friday night in front of the Sky cameras.

Having slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Brentford last weekend, the onus is on Town to get back to winning ways.

Clark said: "We cannot linger on what happened at Brentford because we have to go into the Walsall game with a positive attitude.

"I am delighted we have a game on Tuesday as well as Friday, and that both are in front of our own fans. That should count in our favour."

Michael Collins will miss tonight's meeting with Walsall with a fractured finger.

Better news for Clark, however, is the possible return of Anthony Pilkington, Lee Novak and Lee Peltier after injury.

The Terriers manager said: "We must start strongly, at a high tempo and with high intensity. The first thing they do in a game – whether it be a shot, tackle, header or pass – should be carried out positively and aggressively. If the fans see that, they will get behind the players. And that means we can all drive each other on."

Meanwhile, Town fans are being urged to take advantage of a discounted season ticket offer that will be withdrawn before the final game of the season.

Supporters have until Friday May 7 to book their place for next season in all three of the home stands.

Then, if Huddersfield are in the play-offs, all sales will be suspended until their status for 2010-11 is confirmed.

Last six games: Huddersfield Town LWDWWL, Walsall WLLDWW.
