HUDDERSFIELD TOWN manager Chris Powell has been nominated along with three other candidates for the Championship manager of the month award.
The Londoner, who took over at Huddersfield in September, has precided over an impressive upturn at the club, who took five points from their opening eight league games.
Town went down to their first defeat in eight matches in Tuesday’s 3-2 loss at Derby, having taken 15 points from the previous 21 available.
Their haul featured fine wins over Wolves and Nottingham Forest, with Town going unbeaten in October when they claimed victories over Wolves and Blackpool and draws against Brighton, Blackburn and Ipswich.
Also on the shortlist are Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe, new Fulham boss Kit Symons and Blackburn’s Gary Bowyer.
