Hull City close to tying up deal for Faye

HULL City are close to tying up a deal to recruit free agent Abdoulaye Faye - and his capture is expected to come hot on the heels of the signing of £2m German striker Nick Proschwitz.

The 25-year-old frontman will be veiled by the Tigers today, with Faye, 34, expected to become the club’s fourth summer signing after considering the club’s offer of a one-year deal shortly.

Faye has also received offers from abroad and a rival Championship club, but is poised to sign on the dotted line with City.
