“Our marketing team have gone to great lengths to improve the matchday experience in general over the past two years and a big part of this has been personalising the away end to make travelling fans feel comfortable when they visit us.

“Credit must also go to our catering team, Tiger Events, who have provided an excellent level Food & beverage as well as impressive service.”

A spokesperson for the Football Supporters’ Federation added: “Congratulations to the Tigers for being rated as the Premier League’s best away day in our 2014/15 Away Fans Survey. A score of 7.79 puts them as clear winners in the top flight, and the third best score in the whole country.
