HULL CITY are likely to face Slovakian side FK AS Trencin in the Europa League third qualifying round.
The Tigers will make their European bow this season and must battle through two rounds of qualifying to reach the group stage.
City’s first task will be a two legged affair against either Trencin or FK Vojodina. The two clubs met last night in the first leg of the second qualifying round and Trencin ran out 4-0 winners.
The second leg will take place in Serbia next Thursday but it would be a major surprise if the hosts are able to over-turn the deficit.
That would mean Hull travelling to Slovakia on July 31 for the first leg with the return scheduled for the KC Stadium a week later.
Trencin, who play in a 4,500 capacity stadium, finished second in last season’s top flight of the Slovakian League.
