Reading 0 Hull City 1: Brady gives Tigers victory

Nick Barmby saw his Hull City side return from fellow play-off rivals Reading in the Championship with all three points.

New signing Josh King did not start following his loan switch from Manchester United due to not being match fit, but was named a substitute. Robert Koren, though, played after recovering from a dead leg to resume training on Thursday. Trevor Carson was once again on the bench as Vito Mannone started in goal.

Both sides had chances before Robbioe Brady finally broke the deadlock to give the Tigers the lead on 66 minutes.
