Heckingbottom was handed his punishment by an FA disciplinary panel after being sent to the stands after confronting Wolves coaching staff during the second-half of the 3-1 home loss to the Midlanders on January 31, with the Oakwell chief meeting with officials regarding his charge at Wembley at the start of this week.

On his punishment, Heckingbottom, who will liaise with assistant head-coach Jamie Clapham via an earpiece during the game said: "I was wrong and you cannot do that.

"It will probably be only me who suffers and I will hate it (being in the stands). But the players will be in contact with the bench, no problem.

"It will just be me who will be frustrated and not liking it.

"We will use an earpiece, but it will not be me constantly taking to Claps. It will be when I think there is something important and likewise, he will be doing the same."

Key midfielder Josh Scowen has yet to return to training, but Heckingbottom has revealed that the former Wycombe man is still planning on being back in the fray ahead of schedule after recently being sidelined with two to four weeks with an ankle sprain.

Heckingbottom said: "We want him back as soon as possible. But what we don't want is he is him going over on it and putting himself out for longer."
