Barnsley keen on international defender, Pundit backs Leeds target for Premier League move - gossip

For Barnsley, it could be an opportunity for new manager Valerien Ismael to build on his positive start at Oakwell with a number of shrewd acquisitions.

One player who the Tykes are reportedly keeping an eye on is HJK Helsinki defender Daniel O’Shaughnessy.

According to Football Insider, the 26-year-old Finland has emerged as a target after an impressive start to the season, and could be available for around £500,000 due to his contract expiring in the near future.

Sheffield Wednesday, QPR, and Preston North End are also said to be interested in the centre-back.
