BRADFORD City’s woes away from home continued with a 1-0 defeat at Leyton Orient.

It was the struggling Bantams’ fifth league defeat in eight games as Stuart McCall was left to rue his side’s missed chances.

Dan Happe’s header condemned the misfiring visitors to their fourth straight league loss on the road without scoring.

Conor Wilkinson had the hosts’ best chance of the first half but fired over, before the Bantams took control and had a flurry of chances to take the lead

Connor Wood fired over the bar before Billy Clarke could only head Wood’s cross off target.

Clarke’s deflected effort almost bamboozled former Swindon shot-stopper Lawrence Vigouroux.

Defender Paudie O’Connor was frustrated by Chilean ‘keeper Vigouroux after meeting Elliot Watt’s corner at the near post.

After the restart it was the O’s with the first real sight at goal as James Brophy’s effort deflected wide.

Former Sheffield United striker Clayton Donaldson nodded over before his looping header was kept out by Vigouroux.

And the Bantams were made to rue their plethora of missed chances as Happe nodded home Brophy’s free-kick.
