Jack Hunt hoping fan power can drive Sheffield Wednesday to Wembley
The Owls full-back admitted to mixed feelings at ‘half-time’ against former club Huddersfield Town after the Yorkshire rivals battled out a 0-0 draw at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
And while Hunt was quick to venture that the visitors were far from at their best, the result did ensure that the Owls left Huddersfield with a sense of satisfaction at a job well done.

“Unfortunately, we did not use the ball as well as we can and that is probably the most frustrating thing for us.
“But if you had offered us one game at the start of the season to get to the play-off final at home in front of our crowd, I think most of the lads would have taken it.”
Attention now switches to Wednesday night’s blue-riband occasion at Hillsborough as the Owls seek to finish off their season on home soil with a marquee result.

He added: “Hopefully, it will be a special night in front of our fans under the lights and one where we come out on top.
“We fancy ourselves at home, definitely. Our crowd really get behind us and hopefully it will intimidate them and put them off their game.”
