Kilkenny waits for Leeds United contract offer

MIDFIELDER Neil Kilkenny is eager to resolve his future at Elland Road once he returns from international duty with Australia.

The 25-year-old is a part of the Socceroos side that has reached the semi-finals of the Asian Cup and will be hoping to get game time for the third successive match against Uzbekistan today.

Kilkenny said: "There's nothing to discuss about my contract at the moment.

"Discussions have started, they have been going on for a long time so we'll wait and see when I get back.

"At the end of the day if Leeds want to keep me they know I want to stay, so the ball is in their court."
