Lee Frecklington commits future to Rotherham United

Lee Frecklington has signed a new two-year deal at Rotherham United.

The midfielder, who joined the club in 2013 and enjoyed consecutive promotions to the Championship, had a year left to run on his current deal.

His new contract will see him remain with the Millers until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The 30-year-old former Peterborough United and Lincoln City man said: “I’m very pleased and I think it’s obvious that I enjoy playing for this football club and to extend it by another couple of seasons is something that I was keen to do and I’m really happy that it’s over the line.

“The fans have been brilliant with me since I came here in League Two and its nice to play for a club where you feel like that and I’m hopeful that I’ve got another two years at least of playing in front of them again.”
