Town make their first-ever trip to Shrewsbury Town’s Greenhous Meadows stadium and face the Shropshire outfit for the first time since 1995.

Sheffield Wednesday, who memorably knocked out Arsenal and Newcastle United en route to the last eight of the competition last season, also hit the road and have been handed a tricky looking tie at Cambridge United.

The pick of the other ties involving Yorkshire sides sees Doncaster Rovers welcome managerless Nottingham Forest – who famously triumphed 8-0 in their last visit to Doncaster at this level of the competition in a first-round first leg encounter back in August 1997.

Forest were also victorious on their last trip to Doncaster in the competition, in a 2-0 third-round success in October 2004, with the East Midlands outfit having won all three League Cup meetings between the clubs.
