Leeds United v Cardiff City: Leeds look to break Bluebirds hoodoo

HIGH-FLYING Cardiff City arrive at Elland Road tonight in the Championship looking to chalk up an amazing fifth consecutive victory over Leeds United.

The statistics are clearly stacked against Simon Grayson's side – who have lost half of their home games this season and conceded 11 goals in their last four matches.

The West Yorkshire club did the league double over the Bluebirds in 1983/84, but since then they have drawn three and lost five of eight league meetings, with Cardiff unbeaten in their last four visits to Elland Road.

Grayson has no new injury or suspension worries, but could change his line-up following the abject home defeat by Leicester in midweek.

Goalkeeper Jason Brown could lose his place to fellow loanee Ben Alnwick, who recently arrived from Tottenham.

Craig Bellamy and Michael Chopra could again start for Cardiff after coming through Tuesday's win at Coventry unscathed. Adam Matthews is available after returning from Wales Under-19 duty.
