Bolton eye Leeds United No 1 Lonergan

Leeds United goalkeeper Andy Lonergan is wanted by Bolton Wanderers.

The former England Under 21 goalkeeper is at the top of Owen Coyle’s wanted list as the Bolton manager prepares for life after relegation.

Lonergan’s future at Leeds remains uncertain.

He was No 1 last season but Neil Warnock is understood to be keen on luring his former Sheffield United and QPR shot-stopper Paddy Kenny away from Loftus Road, should Rangers secure a deal for Ben Foster.

Lonergan only joined Leeds last summer from Preston and has two years left to run on his contract at Elland Road.

Meanwhile, Leeds are reportedly also tracking Brighton’s Spanish full-back Inigo Calderon, 30, with West Yorkshire neighbours Huddersfield Town and Bristol City also linked.
