The international break is always a fine opportunity to assess the early stages of the season, and the 2019/20 Championship campaign is already shaping up to be a bit of a classic.

The Blues recruited heavily over the summer, but it's been last season's signing who's been impressing of late. He even bagged the winning goal on the opening day against Brentford with a thunderous header.
He's been on fire, and is Brentford's best with four goals. Powerhouse defender Pontus Jansson was a close second, due to the Bees' stellar defensive work.
Another defender here, the 30-year-old has made a strong start to the season. His efforts helped Rovers secure three clean sheets on the bounce last month.
The Robins had a major summer overhaul, with ten new players joining the club. The Austria international has been their main man, scoring two goals and making two assists thus far.
If Neil Warnock's side are to bounce straight back up to the top tier, the rapid winger will play an integral role. He's contributed a goal and two assists so far.
What a start it's been for Lee Bowyer's newly promoted Addicks! They're flying high in 2nd place, and the Monseratt international has been tearing it up with five goals in six.
Phillip Cocu's reign hasn't exactly gone smoothly so far, and his side are all the way down in 19th place. The veteran defender has been their best performer.
The classy winger is certainly enjoying his loan spell away from Wolves, and has contributed three goals and two assists to kick off the new campaign.
It's been a disastrous start to the season for the Terriers, but they'll be hopeful of turning it around with a new manager. Kongolo has been the pick of a fairly uninspiring bunch.
The Tigers did very well indeed to hang on to their talisman, and he's got three goals and an assist in six games - despite his side's sluggish start to the season.
Interesting one, this. Many Whites fans have suggested Ben White has been their star performer. Mind you, Hernandez has also been excellent.
The Hatters are settling nicely into Championship football, and Collins has scored three important goals for them already.
Another struggling powerhouse, Boro have won just one game in six. Ashley Fletcher has impressed though, especially in the 3-3 thriller against Luton Town which saw him named Man of the Match.
The Lions have made a decent start to the season, and aren't far off the play-off places. Summer signing Smith has impressed from the start, and has three goals to his name.
They significantly reined in the spending this summer, after splashing the cash with little result last season. They've lost just once so far this campaign, and Robinson has been impressive.
One of the stand-out players in the division, the Jamaican has wowed Lilywhites fans with four goals and three assists - and bagged a match-winning brace against Sheffield Wednesday.
At the rate he's going, QPR are going to struggle to hold on to the England youth international for much longer. He's been their stand-out player, with some electrifying moments for his side.
The Royals midfielder has managed to notch up four assists already, and has been a real creative spark in the middle of the park. His side could do with improving, though.

Oh, boy. The Potters are having a rotten time of it, and are rock bottom of the Championship with five defeats in six. Clucas' gutsy displays have been about the only positive.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, the Swans have been running (or swimming?) rampant, and are two points clear at the top. Borja Baston has been top notch, but Mike van der Hoorn has the higher rating.
Slaven Bilic's side are looking good, and are currently unbeaten. Phillips has started brightly, and has proven himself as a match-winning star.
With just one win so far this season, the pressure is on the Latics to improve after the international break. Robinson is their top-rated player, and was Man of the Match in the win over Barnsley.
