Full-time scores: Leeds United v Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday v Hull City, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield United, Doncaster Rovers, York City v Rotherham United and Bradford City

Leeds United and Hull City were the big winners in today’s three Yorkshire derbies.

Leeds beat Barnsley 1-0 at Elland Road, while Hull City snatched a 1-0 win at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday.

But York City and Rotherham United shared a 0-0 draw in League Two.

Eslewhere, Huddersfield Town beat Birmingham 1-0, Sheffield United edged out Leyton Orient by the same scoreline, as did Doncaster Rovers when they welcomed Shrewsbury Town.

Bradford City lost out 4-3 at Dagenham.

This is how the goals went in throughout the afternoon...

3.04pm GOAL... The first goal of the afternoon comes at the Keepmoat Stadium where Billy Paynter nets from the penalty spot as Doncaster Rovers take the lead against Shrewsbury.

3.08pm GOAL... Bradford City are trailing at Dagenham in League Two, Bingham on target for the hosts.

3.25pm GOAL... Not many goals about in the first half, but Jermaine Beckford has put Huddersfield Town in front at Birmingham City.

3.30pm GOAL... Not a good first half for Bradford City, they now trail 2-0 at Dagenham as Spillane scores. A bit of a thriller?

3.42pm GOAL... There has been a goal at Elland Road, and it’s gone to the hosts. Luciano Becchio has converted a 42nd minute penalty to see Barnsley trail 1-0 to Leeds.

3.45pm Half-time whistles are going around the region, and it’s 0-0 at Hillsborough between Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City. No-one predicted that with two leaky defences in recent weeks. It’s 0-0 between York and Rotherham too in League Two.

4.10pm GOAL... Dagenham go 3-0 up against Bradford, Wilkinson the latest player to get his name on the scoresheet.

4.14pm GOAL... The Bantams have a lifeline, Nahki Wells pulling a goal back to make it 3-1 to the Daggers.

4.23pm GOALS... Wells now tucks away a Bradford penalty to make it 3-2, while Sheffield United break the deadlock at Leyton Orient, Nick Blackman on target for the Blades.

4.36pm GOALS... And the deadlock at Hillsborough has been broken. Substitute Aaron McLean fired home in the 77th minute with virtually his first touch of the game, after replacing Jay Simpson. Bradford’s figthback looks over as Gayle nets ith 14 minutes remaining.

4.46pm GOAL... Goals fest at Dagenham. Now Connell has reduced the arrears to 4-3 as Bradford chase the game.
