2 Dick Ray, who managed Leeds United during their inaugural season playing in the Midland league.

3 Blue and white stripes for the first fifteen years. When Leeds United was formed following the demise of Leeds City, Huddersfield Town chairman Hilton Crowther proposed the amalgamation of his club with the newly formed Leeds outfit. The merger plans eventually came to nothing but Crowther joined Leeds anyway as chairman of the club – hence the blue and white stripes.

5 Two; the first and second games, played at Hillsborough and Villa Park respectively, both ended goalless, so a second replay at Burnden Park was required, which Leeds finally won 1–0. The winning goal was scored by Billy Bremner.
