Immortalized in bronze, an 8ft Don Revie heads for Elland Road
Sculptor Graham Ibbeson has revealed a first glimpse of his statue of legendary Leeds United manager Don Revie.
The 8ft bronze statue, to be unveiled next May, will stand next to the Centenary Pavilion at United’s Elland Road home, opposite the section of the ground’s East Stand that is currently under redevelopment.
Revie won many trophies with Leeds United during the 1960s and 1970s.
The statue, which is currently at Mr Ibbeson’s workshop in Barnsley, will join one of the club’s former captain, Billy Bremner.
