Rosler’s seventh signing of the summer will finally bring balance to the squad, with the new manager having been keen to find a new wideman to complete his pre-season preparations.

Dallas, 24, has agreed the terms of a three-year contract. The deal includes the option of a fourth season with Leeds.

Brentford boss Marinus Dijkhuizen had earlier confirmed that Dallas, signed by Rosler while United’s head coach was manager of Brentford in 2012, wanted to move north.

The 24-year-old was a main-stay of Brentford’s promotion challenge last season, playing 38 Sky Bet Championship matches and both play-off games against Middlesbrough.

Dallas made his debut for Northern Ireland in 2011, in a 2-0 defeat to Wales, but had to wait until 2015 for his next four caps.
