McCormack ruled out till mid-November, warnock tells Leeds fans

LEEDS striker Ross McCormack is likely to be ruled out until mid-November with the ankle injury he suffered in last weekend’s defeat at Cardiff.

McCormack may have to undergo surgery while fellow forward Luciano Becchio also limped off during Tuesday’s defeat by Hull after taking a knock on his ankle.

“Becchio banged his ankle,” Whites boss Neil Warnock told the club’s official website.

“We had to be careful. It’s alright him carrying on and then we lose him for a month. I didn’t want that.

“We’re already without Ross and we know he’ll be out for six to eight weeks now. It might be that he needs an operation on Friday because he chipped a bone alongside the ligaments.

“It’s as bad as you can get from a twisted ankle without breaking it.”
