Sloth joined Leeds in the summer of 2014, signing a three-year deal, but has struggled to establish himself in the starting 11.

Despite making 13 appearances for the Whites in the league last season, Sloth has failed to appear in the first team during this campaign.

Speaking after the Under-21s 2-1 vicotry away at Coventry, in which Sloth scored, the Danish international said: “This is the only thing I can do, perform when I’m playing here. I can’t really change what’s going on with the first-team. So that’s the only thing I can do.

“It’s not only a few months [I’ve been out of the first-team picture], rather nine or ten months, that’s football, that’s how it is, I can’t really change anything about it. I can only do something when I play here [for the Under-21s], so that’s what I’m trying to do.

“It’s good to get goals. I think I scored four in the last four now, so I want to add more goals to my game as well.

“Even though it’s only 21s it’s still good to get some goals.”

Sloth has eight caps for Denmark.
