Nunez injured in Leeds’s triumph

LEEDS United’s Ramon Nunez could be facing a lengthy lay-off after being stretchered off during yesterday’s development squad victory over Wigan Athletic.

United triumphed 3-1 but the early injury to the Honduran international was the major talking point of the afternoon.

He was clearly in pain when he left Elland Road and Leeds’s medical staff will assess the injury today.

Sheffield United’s home game against Portsmouth has been put back two days to Monday, October 29 to be shown live on Sky Sports, kick-off 7.45pm.
