Team news: Midfielders Nathan Doyle and Miles Addison return to action for the Tykes and Cameron Park has recovered from illness but manager Keith Hill is still without nine players due to injuries namely, David Perkins, Matt Done, Jay McEveley, Danny Haynes, Craig Davies, Rob Edwards, Goran Lovre, Reuben Noble-Lazarus and Luke Potter.

Hull City v Cardiff City

Team news: Midfielder Paul McKenna is still struggling with the dead leg that forced him to miss Hull’s midweek game at Doncaster. Midfielder Tom Cairney has shaken off a minor knock, Defender Paul McShane and striker Martin Pusic returned to action in the reserves this week but are unlikely to be risked at this stage.

Leeds United v Portsmouth

Team news: Leeds manager Simon Grayson has a variety of options and could recall Patrick Kisnorbo in defence. Senior players Michael Brown, Ramon Nunez, Andy O’Brien, Paul Connolly, and Billy Paynter were not even on the bench last week against Brighton while defender Alex Bruce and striker Lloyd Sam were both injured.

Peterborough United v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Defender Pascal Chimbonda’s debut for Rovers may be postponed due to a lack of match fitness. Rovers still have a lengthy injury list that includes Chris Brown, Adam Lockwood, Martin Woods, James Chambers, and Rachid Bouhenna. On loan midfielder Ryan Mason has recovered from injury and is back in the squad.

Brentford v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Town defender Jamie McCombe starts a three match ban so manager Lee Clark is expected to recall Peter Clarke or Liam Cooper alongside Antony Kay in the centre of defence. Goalkeeper Alex Smithies remains sidelined following knee surgery so Ian Bennett continues in goal.

Hartlepool United v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Striker Ryan Lowe is a major doubt for the Owls after aggravating an ankle problem and midfielder David Prutton will be sidelined for six weeks with a torn thigh. Winger Jermaine Johnson serves the final game of a three game ban but the fit-again Chris O’Grady is pushing for a start.

Team news: Midfielder Nick Montgomery is available again after recovering from an ankle injury. On loan defender Marcus Williams has recovered from a dead leg suffered last weekend against Wycombe. The Blades are still without the services of captain Chris Morgan, fullback Andy Taylor, and midfielder Johnny Ertl due to long term injuries.

League Two

Burton Albion v Bradford City

Team news: Loan signing Adam Reed is set to make his Bantams debut while striker Craig Fagan is set to start a game for the first time in 12 months. On loan striker Jamie Devitt is likely to miss out after returning to his parent club Hull City for treatment on a hip injury .
