The race for promotion out of League One rages on regardless of which managers are staying in or losing their jobs, with Simon Grayson’s Huddersfield visiting Bury and Danny Wilson’s Sheffield United entertaining Oldham.

Up in the Championship, Leeds United host Southampton in the evening kick-off while Doncasater look to climb off the bottom of the table at home to Brighton.

Barnsley v Nottingham Forest

Team news: The Tykes are again without David Perkins, Jim O’Brien, and Bobby Hassell while midfielder Jacob Butterfield is sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Midfielder Stephen Dawson will make his home debut.

Doncaster Rovers v Brighton and HA

Team news: Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is back on loan from Wolves and replaces David Button whose loan from Tottenham Hotspur has expired. Winger James Coppinger is available after six weeks out with a broken jaw but midfielder Martin Woods (knee) is likely to miss out again.

Leeds United v Southampton

Team news: Alex Bruce is out with the hamstring injury that saw the defender substituted in the first half at Portsmouth last weekend, while Mika Vayrynen has undergone an operation on his groin to join Paddy Kisnorbo and Davide Somma (both knee) on the sideliness. Robbie Rogers is still unavailable with concussion, while new signing Danny Webber is in the squad.

Bury v Huddersfield Town

Sheffield United v Oldham Athletic

Team news: The Blades are again without injured midfielders Nick Montgomery and Kevin McDonald but Danny Wilson is considering a recall for Stephen Quinn after the winger scored the winning goal as substitute in midweek against Scunthorpe. Striker Richard Cresswell is also poised for a recall with James Beattie returning to the bench.

League Two

Barnet v Rotherham United

Team news: The Millers are boosted by the return of on loan Chelsea goalkeeper Rhys Taylor who has recovered from an elbow injury so manager Andy Scott will have to decide whether to keep faith with Andy Warrington. Winger Gareth Evans is still out with a back injury and defender Luke Foster (knee) is also unavailable.

Dagenham and Redbridge v Bradford City

Team news: David Syers (back), Simon Ramsden (hamstring) and Michael Flynn (thigh) are all missing for the trip to Essex but, otherwise, manager Phil Parkinson reports just niggling problems for a couple of his players.

Team news: David McGurk’s return to first-team action for the Minstermen has been delayed by the recurrance of a throat problem. The centre-back was due back for the visit of Hayes and Yeading after being sidelined since New Year’s Day with a leg injury. But this latest problem means he cannot partake in any contact sport for three weeks. Fellow defender Chris Smith begins a two-match ban.
