Hull City v Sunderland

Team news: Sone Aluko (calf) looks likely to miss out again but Robbie Brady (hernia) could return. Allan MCGregor is out with a hip injury along with James Chester (hamstring) and Alex Bruce, who injured his groin against Spurs on Wednesday night. Jake Livermore returns after sitting out the two games with parent club Tottenham but Danny Graham can not play under the terms of his loan switch from Sunderland.

Blackburn Rovers v Middlesbrough

Team news: Caretaker-manager Mark Venus has a strong squad to pick from, with captain Jonathan Woodgate showing no ill effects after his return from a calf injury in last week’s victory over Doncaster Rovers. DJ Campbell and Grant Hanley are suspended for Blackburn.

Team news: Richie Wellens returns from a one-match ban, with QPR loan defender Yun Suk-Young pushing for a start. Jamie McCombe (back) and James Husband (shoulder) remain sidelined. On-loan Wolves defender Stephen Ward (hamstring) is out for Brighton.

Leeds United v Yeovil Town

Team news: Sam Byram (thigh) is a major doubt, while Stephen Warnock could also miss out after picking up a knock in training earlier this week. Dexter Blackstock, meanwhile, could start after coming off the bench on his debut and scoring with his first touch.

Wigan Athletic v Huddersfield Town

Team news: James Vaughan is again absent as the striker serves the second of a three-game ban for his red card at Leicester, while Martin Paterson is also out with an arm injury that may require surgery.

Crewe Alexandra v Bradford City

Team news: Nahki Wells is pushing for a start after coming through 45 minutes against Wolves with no reaction to his earlier ankle problem. Alan Connell and Andy Gray are unlikely to feature after being told they can both make loan moves away from Valley Parade.

Team news: David McGurk (hamstring) is a doubt along with Josh Carson, who suffered a slight hamstring strain in the midweek win over Scunthorpe. Full-back Luke O’Neill will start his seventh straight game following the extension of his loan earlier this week.
