It’s the stand-out match of the day in the Championship, but there’s plenty of other sumptuous games being staged involving Yorkshire clubs.

At Hillsborough, Sheffield Wednesday host Bournemouth, while Doncaster Rovers face a tricky trip to Derby County.

Huddersfield Town are also on the road at Brighton.

Hull City head down to the Midlands to take on West Brom in the Premier League.

In League One, Sheffield United are at Stevenage, Wolves are the visitors at Rotherham United, while Bradford travel to Peterborough.

Team news: Robbie Brady is out with a groin injury and remains a doubt for the entire festive period. Sone Aluko (Achilles) and Stephen Quinn (hamstring) remain long-term absentees.

Team news: Danny Pugh is a slight doubt but should be okay for Leeds, while El-Hadji Diouf returned to training this week and Scott Wootton is available after coming through a friendly at the training ground. For Barnsley, top scorer Chris O’Grady is hoping to be fit after missing the last month with a calf injury. Luke Steele (back) is still out so Jack Butland will again start.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Joel Lynch joins captain Peter Clarke (knee) on the absentee list after the central defender was dismissed towards the end of last week’s home defeat to Reading for a second yellow card.

James Vaughain is again likely to miss out with an ankle problem.

Derby County v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Harry Forrester has returned to full training and could feature while James Husband has returned to light running but remains a long way from first-team action.

Team news: Midfielder Giles Coke and left-back Joe Mattock are back in contention for the Owls. On-loan Damian Martinez is due to keep his place, as former England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland remains on the bench.

Millwall v Middlesbrough

Team news: Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Woodgate is battling to recover from a thigh problem. Striker Marvin Emnes, who missed the Brighton defeat (hamstring) has a chance of returning but goalkeeper Jason Steele (ankle), striker Kei Kamara (knee) and full-back Andy Halliday (hernia) will not feature.

Rotherham United v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Team news: Joe Skarz is available for selection while Michael O’Connor could also feature this weekend, if he he came through training okay yesterday. David Worrall and Pablo Mills have also trained and are ready to return.

Peterborough United v Bradford City

Team news: James Hanson’s record as City’s only ever-present is under threat due to a tight calf. Phil Parkinson, though, will give his striker as long as possible to be fit. The same applies to Raffaele De Vita, who is troubled by a thigh problem. Caleb Folan is out with a sore hamstring.

York City v Oxford United

Team news: Michael Ingham will be touch and go to be involved after returning to training this week following five weeks out with a hip flexor problem. Luke O’Neill is available after an ankle injury but Daniel Parslow and Chris Smith are still out.
