Team news: Alan Lee starts a three-game ban after being found guilty by the FA of violent conduct in his clash with Alex Bruce of Hull City but Jermaine Beckford could come back into the starting line-up.

Leeds United v Middlesbrough

Team news: Alan Tate returns to the squad after having to sit out the midweek defeat to Chelsea due to being Cup-tied, as is Ryan Hall. David Norris is likely to return in midfield alongside Michael Tonge, who is set to make the final appearance of his loan spell from Stoke City.

Millwall v Barnsley

Team news: Reuben Noble-Lazarus (ankle), Emile Sinclair (dead leg), Akos Buzsaky (hamstring) and Jacob Mellis have not trained all week and are doubts for today’s trip, although they could feature against Birmingham on Boxing Day. David Perkins and Jim O’Brien are pushing for a start.

Sheffield Wednesday v Charlton Athletic

Team news: Mamady Sidibe and Jeremy Helan play the final match of their loan spells, with Reda Johnson back in contention after a foot injury. But Jose Semedo and Jay Bothroyd are still out injured.

Crawley Town v Sheffield United

Team news: Kevin McDonald trained on Thursday after picking up an injury at Carlisle and is due to play. Striker Dave Kitson made his return from a hamstring injury last week and should feature. Crawley’s former Blades defender Kyle McFadzean is due to have a scan as he continues his recovery from a virus.

Doncaster Rovers v MK Dons

Team news: Jamie McCombe is 100 per cent fit and waiting for the go-ahead to feature from Dean Saunders. Shelton Martis and Andy Griffin are also pushing for a return. Martin Woods and Davis Syers are rated at 50-50 by the manager.

Bristol Rovers v Rotherham United

Team news: Central defender Ian Sharps and left-back Liam Ridehalgh are both in contention after returning from suspension and ineligibility respectively. Mark Bradley and Jack O’Connell could therefore miss out. Courtney Cameron could feature if Steve Evans switches to a 4-4-2.

Wycombe Wanderers v Bradford City

Team news: After leaving several of his players at home for the midweek FA Cup trip to Brentford, Phil Parkinson will revert to his first choice XI. Kyel Reid and Zavon Hines both started in that defeat but are likely to revert to the bench as they continue the search for full fitness after injury.

York City v Gillingham

Team news: Paddy McLaughlin has recovered from injury and should be available after returning to training yesterday but both Chris Doig (ankle) and midfielder Ashley Chambers (groin) are doubts as the table-toppers come to Bootham Crescent.
