The Whites were victorious against Manchester City last week thanks to a dramatic late strike from Stuart Dallas, but the tests keep coming thick and fast, with Liverpool due to visit Elland Road at the beginning of next week.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men gave a good account of themselves in their 4-3 opening day defeat to the Reds back in September, but the Argetine has been eager to emphasise that his side have a long way to go before they can consistently challenge the top six.

“The second half of that game we played with one man more.

“In the game against Manchester United, we did not deserve a better result than the one we obtained. Perhaps, the margin should not have been so high, but they still deserved their win, the same with Tottenham.”

A win against the Reds would keep Leeds in the top half of the table, moving them up to 48 points with six games to go.
