Todd Cantwell and Louie Sibley on Leeds United radar but Whites will be patient
Cuisance had looked set to join Marcelo Bielsa’s side earlier this month after Leeds agreed a deal with his club Bayern Munich.
However, the deal collapsed following the 21-year-old’s arrival in England and he then promptly joined Marseille on a one-year loan move.

Hide AdThe closure of the international window on October 5 means that the clock is ticking if Leeds are to do any business in the domestic window which closes on Friday at 5pm, with Premier League clubs still able to sign players from EFL clubs until then.
Leeds have been linked with Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell and Derby County’s Louie Sibley ahead of the deadline, with both players widely regarded as two of the hottest young prospects in the Championship.
While both precocious talents are players who United have monitored, it is understood that a move for either is currently unlikely – as it stands.
On not signing Cuisance and not electing to bring in another midfielder before the international deadline, the Leeds director of football said: “It is a part of the situation. We analyse all and at the end if things happen, (there is) no agreement.

“When we analysed the market, we detected that with the requirements we have for this position, if a player is not realistic over all the requirements, bringing in a player for the sake of bringing in a player is not clever.
“It can be worse. We prefer to bring in a good player.”
On the links regarding Cantwell and Sibley, Orta continued: “We analyse all the players, we know them really well; their clubs were our rivals. But it is like a lot of players we have analysed.
“It is difficult. They are players we analysed, we have information and then we need to think about the possibility.

“Even for us, it is difficult to evaluate clearly one point of view. The availability is reduced from the other market.”
