The Premier League is the place to be for players. It is now by far the best paying league in Europe, dwarfing the other countries which make up the ‘top five’ on the continent.

Across the past 25 years wages have skyrocketed. It was at first a steady rise before big leaps until the current season where on average, including bonuses, Premier League stars are making huge amounts.
