City have a host of injury problems ahead of the trip to the south coast with Michael Flynn (ribs) and Simon Ramsden (calf) definitely out along with Omar Daley (hamstring).

To add to Peter Taylor's problems, Matt Clarke (calf) missed out but Gareth Evans (bruised foot) was fit to face the promotion-chasing Cherries.

But it was the hosts who opened the scoring on 41 minutes, Brett Pitman firing home for the only goal of the game from just outside the penalty area.
