Town went ahead on 22 minutes, Jordan Rhodes firing home, before Theo Robinson added a second after half-time.

Dean Keates (73) replied for Wanderers as Terriers clinged on for all three points.

Clark said: "I'm still not interested in the League table at this point - the only one I care about will be the table on May 8th at 5pm following the final game of the season.

"We didn't talk about it in the dressing room today - we were totally focussed on how we could cause Wycombe problems and how we could combat their threats.

"Of course we knew the results from yesterday, but the only people who can help us is ourselves - if we don't get our results right, that's the end of it.

"The players have got themselves in a very good position. The expectation level is high, both from the supporters and myself, but they can handle it - they are doing great."
